At Footsteps we have invested in some of the most advanced computer based gait assessment equipment available today.
The use of high speed treadmills that are linked to and controlled by computer are important in the diagnostics of sports runners.
We use a Podotech foot pressure scanner to measure accurately foot pressure during stance and gait which can then be visualized graphically and in 3D images. The foot can then be scanned using 3D imaging to produce a custom made orthosis.
When it comes to treatment. We can offer a wide range of prefabricated and custom made orthosis or insoles which can be adapted or specifically prescribed and custom made by our laboratories. We can now order flip flops and sandals to your exact prescription as well to keep you comfortable all year round whatever the weather.
Other treatment programs may include exercise regimes such as ultrasound therapy and Hypervolt percussion therpay.
